The Dark Side of Friday Night Lights is a powerful call to uncover the truth—an exposé that pulls back the curtain on the deeply troubling misconduct within Kingfisher High School’s football program. More than a story about sports, it’s about the unchecked abuse of power that went far beyond the field—and the voices that refused to stay silent.

This project needed more than just a website—it required a platform that could carry the weight of its message. One that balanced gravity with clarity, emotion with fact, and urgency with care. The visual identity is striking and sober: stark typography, a muted yet high-contrast color palette, and a restrained design system that allows the facts—and the victims’ voices—to take center stage.

We designed the digital experience to draw users into the story and keep them there. Anchored by powerful imagery, first-hand accounts, and verifiable timelines, the site guides visitors through a narrative that’s as heartbreaking as it is important. Thoughtful layout choices emphasize key moments, while intentional pacing and scannable content make the heavy subject matter easier to absorb.

From headlines to hover states, every interaction is designed to amplify the call to action: face the truth, demand accountability, and stand with those affected. Developed in Webflow, the site performs seamlessly across devices, ensuring the message reaches as many people as possible—loud, clear, and impossible to ignore.

This is not just a website—it’s a reckoning. One that exposes the dark side of a beloved institution and invites visitors to ask the hard questions, seek justice, and join the push for real change.
